After years of living the “High School” lifestyle, the family decided to take a break. Carlisle and Esme head to Europe for a 6 month vacation and to reconnect with old friends. The four boys head to their old hometowns to finally put away their pasts and say goodbye. After visiting Texas to visit Peter and Jasper's parent's graves, check for any living relatives and to get closure, they head to Tennessee to help Emmett do the same. Now, two months later, they head to Chicago to check on Edward's old home and close that part of his past as well. None of them have found their mates. They are beginning to think they never will. Still at Edward's old home, they decide to stay for a few days and enjoy the city. Tonight they are going to a country dance club Emmett read about in the paper. If only they had girls to share it with. Lucky for them, they can drink whiskey and coffee, so they won't have a problem blending in.
